Key Management Systems

Keybox

Steel key cabinets in four series. Start with a cabinet on a code, turn it into a registered system or have the cabinet recognise every key, and add another as soon as the number of keys grows.

One cabinet line, three levels of management.

The same housing, the same drawers, the same size on the wall. What differs is the control on the door.

Basic A keypad on the door. Open with a personal code; no further infrastructure needed. View Basic ›
Most chosen System A keypad with display. Users, rights and events are recorded and can be read out. View System ›
Keycontrol Electronic identification per key position. The cabinet knows which key hangs where, up to 924 positions. View Keycontrol ›

Basic series

Open with a code.

The simplest step away from a key box with one key: everyone with access has their own code. No network, no server, no management program.

  • Open with a personal code on the door
  • Works on its own — no network or server needed
  • Ready to use at once, minimal installation

System series

Who, what, when.

The same cabinet, now with a display. Users and rights are set per person and every opening is recorded. After an incident it can be established who opened the compartment.

  • Users and rights configurable per person
  • Every issue and return goes into the log
  • Traceable afterwards: who, what, when

Keycontrol series

Every key recognised.

The most intelligent level: every key position is identified electronically. The cabinet knows which key hangs where and which is out — in real time, without signing off by hand.

  • Electronic identification per key position
  • Real-time view of which key is present or out
  • Works with IntelliPin and KeyWin for full logging

Expansion series

Add, do not replace.

Expansion cabinets have no panel of their own. They hang beside a Basic, System or Keycontrol and are opened from that same control. If the number of keys grows, another cabinet is added — the codes and rights stay as they are.

  • No control of its own — works under the main cabinet
  • The same codes and rights continue to apply
  • Expand without replacing the system

Key strips

Start with one strip. Build it out when you need to.

You decide how many key strips go in the cabinet. Lockable, non-lockable, or both mixed in the same cabinet. That keeps the initial outlay small and lets you add a strip later as the number of keys grows.

Size

Choose your size.

Every series comes in the same sizes. You choose the control — Basic, System or Expansion — and the size separately, from a single interior to a large cabinet.

One interior The full interior behind one door, fitted out with key hooks.

Two drawers An interior plus two drawers, each released separately.
Keybox with two lockable drawers
Six drawers Six separate compartments for departments, buildings or vehicles.

IntelliPin

The key fob that gives itself away.

The IntelliPin is not packed with electronics. Its strength is simpler: every fob has its own unique identity. The cabinet reads it, KeyWin records it.

That makes it possible to see afterwards who took which key and at what moment. No list on the wall, no sign-out book.

  • A unique identity per fob — no two alike in the system
  • Every issue and return goes into the log van KeyWin
  • The bunch fixed to the fob, the fob fixed in the position

Every IntelliPin has its own ID; veertien sleutelplaatsen per strip.

Which series suits you?

We look with you at the number of keys, the number of users and whether registration is required. If keys are issued to dozens of staff a day, the Security Asset Manager is the next step. For keys that only need to be behind a lock: the Safebox.

Frequently asked questions about the Keybox.

  • The same housing, the same drawers, the same size on the wall — what differs is the level of management. Basic opens with a code, without the cabinet keeping track of who was there. System has a display: rights per person and every action recorded. Keycontrol identifies every key position electronically, so the cabinet also knows which key is hanging there. Expansion has no panel of its own and hangs beside one of the other three.

  • Yes. An Expansion cabinet is placed beside an existing Basic, System or Keycontrol and works from the same panel. Inside the cabinet you decide how many key strips it holds; those can be added later.

  • With the Keycontrol series it does: every position is identified electronically. In the other series the cabinet records who opened it and when. With the IntelliPin key fob, each of which has its own identity, it can be seen afterwards who took which key and at what moment.

  • KeyWin6 controls all your Keybox cabinets from one environment: keys, users and rights in one place, and reports on what has happened.

  • Every series comes in the same sizes, so you first choose the level of management and then the size. The models, dimensions and capacity per series are listed under Specifications.

  • That depends on three things: the number of keys, the number of users and whether registration is required. If you must be able to prove who had a key, Basic is not enough. We will look with you — or start with the product finder.

Complete your key management.

A cabinet with registration only works if the key is fixed to its number — and grows with whatever you add beside it.
