SAM lockers

Keys are not the only thing that has to be issued. Two-way radios, laptops, firearms, evidence: every compartment opens only for whoever is entitled to it, and every opening is recorded.

Operation

One panel, dozens of compartments.

Lockers are an extension of the Security Asset Manager and use the same identification: code, card, fingerprint or a combination of these. Only the compartment the user is entitled to springs open; the rest stays shut.

Rights can be set per person, per compartment and per time slot. What goes out and what comes back appears in the overview afterwards.

Levels of management

From a locked door to every single item tracked.

Lockers work at five levels. You decide how far the registration goes: the door alone, or every individual item inside.

Door control The locker records who opens which compartment and when. The system says nothing about the contents.
Reported by the user On return the user states whether the item is back, stays out or is faulty.
Barcode Every item has its own barcode. It is scanned on issue and return, so the registration adds up at item level.
Smart ID An adapter on the item reports itself electronically. The lead keeps it visible whether the item is actually present.
Self-service Simple operation for visitors and occasional users, with no explanation needed beforehand.

Applications

The compartment adapts to its contents.

Layout, height, ventilation and power supply are determined per application. The lockers are put together to measure.

Pass-through lockers

Handover without meeting.

A compartment with a door on both sides of the wall. One party puts it in, the other collects it — both actions separately authorised and recorded.

Used for evidence, samples and valuables in transit, where the chain must be demonstrably watertight.

Version

Adaptable to the space.

Identification of your choice The same methods as the Security Asset Manager: PIN code, card, smartphone, fingerprint or contactless.
Doors at the front, the back or both A door on one side, or on both sides of the wall for handover between two rooms.
Power per compartment Mains power in every individual compartment, so devices charge while they are stored away.
Lighting in the compartments LED lighting makes the contents visible as soon as the compartment opens.
Wall mounting or a base Hung on the wall or on a plinth, depending on the space.
Made to drawing The number of compartments, the dimensions and the layout are worked out per project.

Control

With software or without.

GFMS Browser-based management software with no installation on the workstation. The same environment as behind the Security Asset Manager. KSI helps set up the management, whatever the size of the site or the technology already in place.
Direct Control A version without built-in software: every door and position is driven directly. For organisations that do not want intermediary hardware or software.

A user identifies themselves, the right compartment opens, and the software shows per door what is inside and what has been taken.

Put together to measure.

The number of compartments, the dimensions, power, ventilation and the method of identification are decided together with the situation on site. Lockers work on their own or alongside a Security Asset Manager, so keys and assets appear in the same registration.

SAM lockers are made to order: sizes, numbers of compartments and delivery time are agreed with you per project.
